Man pleads guilty to leaving scene of fatal hit-and-run in Rochester

Rochester, N.Y. — A man has pleaded guilty following a fatal hit-and-run on the city’s west side over the summer.

The Monroe County District Attorney’s Office said Demingo Hinton-Diggs left the scene of a crash Aug. 15 at West Broad and Orange streets that killed Moresee Chatman.

Police said they found Chatman, 49, dead from injuries after being hit by a car that fled the scene…
