ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Bishop Jerry McCullough Sr., the founder of Faith Temple Apostolic Church Ministries, died this week. He established the church in Rochester’s 19th Ward more than 50 years ago.
Rochester Mayor Malik Evans reflected on McCullough’s impact, saying he was more than a pastor. “He was a mentor, advocate, confidant, and compassionate leader,” said Evans.
