ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Power has been restored after nearly 3,000 customers were without power around Webster, after a tree branch came down on a line, according to Rochester Gas and Electric.

Power was restored between 5:30 p.m. and 6:15 p.m.
RG&E said due to smart automated technology, crews were able to isolate the issue and reduce the outage time for customers.
