Penfield woman accused of hosting underage drinking party pleads not guilty

PENFIELD, N.Y. — A Penfield woman charged with hosting a party where Monroe County sheriff’s deputies say a teenager had a blood alcohol level five times the legal limit pleaded not guilty.

Medina Bijelic faced charges of endangering the welfare of a child, reckless endangerment, and unlawfully dealing with a child.

Deputies responded to her home on Halloween. They say they found over 100 underage people, and a 17-year-old who had hit his head and became unconscious after drinking half a bottle of vodka and smoking marijuana…
