Man found shot during traffic stop at Diringer Place; condition unknown

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — A 20-year-old man was found with a gunshot wound Friday night during a traffic stop on Rochester’s northeast side, and his condition remains unknown, according to police.

Officers responded to Diringer Place around 8:50 p.m. after a ShotSpotter alert reported gunfire in the area. While investigating, police stopped a vehicle linked to the incident and discovered the driver had been shot in the lower body.
