Rochester, N.Y. — A former Ogden police officer accused of leaving threatening signs on an FBI agent’s porch, attempting to set Greece police officers on fire and escaping custody at Rochester General Hospital has reached a guilty plea.
Steven Ploof pleaded guilty to reckless endangerment, according to the Monroe County District Attorney’s Office.
Ploof, 47, was spotted running around his apartment complex with knives Sept. 11 screaming “I’m gonna kill you” and saying he hoped someone called the police because he would go after them with the weapons, according to a federal criminal complaint…
