ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — The Rochester Police Department is investigating after an SUV crashed into a home on Child Street.
Officers responded to the area of the 400 block of Child Street at 9:42 p.m. for a report of a vehicle into a home. At the scene, officers discovered a damaged fence and a mid-sized SUV with its front against a home, and were informed that the driver left the scene before authorities arrived.
Early investigative efforts found that the SUV was traveling south on Child Street when the driver reportedly lost control of the vehicle before it crashed into the fence and home, which was occupied at the time of the incident…
