Citizen complaints lead to felony DWI arrest in Palmyra

Police arrested a man Saturday night after multiple complaints about a driver with a suspended license in the Village of Palmyra.

Jeffrey Vanderwege, 49, of West Main Street, was taken into custody around 8:38 p.m. on Jan. 11 following a traffic stop by the Palmyra Police Department.

Police said they received numerous reports that Vanderwege was operating a vehicle despite having a suspended driver’s license.

Officers located the vehicle, stopped it, and confirmed Vanderwege’s license was revoked…
