The Wegmans store at 851 Fairport Road in East Rochester’s Country Club Plaza doesn’t have a clock tower. It doesn’t have an animatronic rooster named Casanova that crows on the hour. And it doesn’t have a model train that goes round and round on a track suspended from the ceiling.
What it does have is a lot of history, and much of it remains on display to this day.
