ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — An American Airlines plane departing for Charlotte went off a taxiway at the Frederick Douglass Greater Rochester International Airport on Thursday, according to Monroe County officials.
Monroe County said the cause of the plane leaving the taxiway remains under investigation. Officials emphasized the incident was not weather-related, noting the airfield was clear of snow and ice at the time.
