Rochester opens R-Centers to support families during storm closures

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — The City of Rochester opened three R-Centers on Thursday in response to school closures caused by a winter storm.

The centers offered free meals and activities to help keep students engaged, similar to a regular school day.

Edgerton Community Center Manager Montina Langston said staff were ready to support families.
