First Alert Weather: Hazardous weather ahead: Yellow Alerts Friday, Sunday, Monday

ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The Eastern U.S. is in for a wallop of winter weather over the next few days. Parts of the Midwest will see wind chills down to -50 degrees, and a winter storm will sweep from Texas to New England, leaving heavy snow and crippling ice in its wake. Though ice won’t be a concern for us, dangerously cold wind chills tomorrow and heavy snow on Sunday and Monday will certainly have an impact on the Rochester and Finger Lakes region. Therefore we have issued a Yellow Alert for those three days.
