ROCHESTER, N.Y. — With severe weather expected, people have been flocking to grocery stores ahead of the storm.
At the Wegmans on East Avenue in Rochester Saturday afternoon, the parking lot was filled with hundreds of cars, and shoppers crowded the aisles.
Every checkout line was open, and some lines were so long they extended into the aisles. Many shoppers were seen leaving with toilet paper, paper towels, and bottled water. Shelves with items like eggs, milk, and frozen food were beginning to thin…
