MOHAWK, N.Y. — Students at Gregory B. Jarvis Middle School are exploring new possibilities through an essay contest focused on the legacy of Jarvis and the space program.
The contest involved 200 students who wrote essays about Gregory B. Jarvis and space exploration, with the winners earning a chance to experience a space simulation at the Challenger Learning Center of Greater Rochester.
