Rochester, N.Y. — A man was sentenced Wednesday to 22 years in prison after previously pleading guilty to first-degree manslaughter for a deadly shooting outside a bar in the city’s Maplewood neighborhood.
Jose Acevedo, now 34, shot Sean Semprie, 29, multiple times at point-blank range Nov. 13, 2021 in the back parking lot of the Black Bear Pub on West Ridge Road, according to the Monroe County District Attorney’s Office
