Rochester, N.Y. — A man is awaiting sentencing after being convicted of charges stemming from the rape of a child under age 13.
A jury convicted Kendrick Ford, 34, Thursday of first-degree rape, two counts of first-degree sexual abuse and endangering the welfare of a child.
Ford sexually abused the victim between Oct. 31, 2023 and Feb. 26, 2024, according to the Monroe County District Attorney’s Office, before the victim reported the abuse to a family member. An indictment was unsealed Nov. 29, 2024 charging Ford with rape and sexual abuse…
