IRONDEQUOIT, N.Y. — The 585 Stout Fest returned to Irondequoit Beer Company, attracting beer and music enthusiasts. The event featured 15 area breweries that brought their stouts for people to enjoy.
Some attendees gathered outside in a tent while others enjoyed their drinks inside the brewery. The festival also included live music from Peter Ryan and a special food menu highlighting collaborations with other local businesses.
“This is one of my favorite events of the year,” said Head Brewer Nate Kester. “It’s nice we get to host it because we get to have all kinds of wonderful dark beers from some of the best breweries in the area and the brewers come out so I get to hang with them and sample their beer and they get to sample ours and it’s wonderful to just bring people in and celebrate the winter because there’s no better time to drink dark beer than in the winter.”…
