The Maplewood Community Library at 1111 Dewey Ave is getting a big upgrade! Construction is almost done, and the library will reopen in late March 2026. The new space will include a secure outdoor play area, a larger parking lot, new classrooms and tutoring rooms, a community meeting room, and updated restrooms. The expansion adds 2,666 square feet, bringing the total to 9,688 square feet of public space. The project is funded by the Federal American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) and the City of Rochester.
