Investigation underway after ‘explosive’ levels of natural gas found in Henrietta home

Henrietta, N.Y. – Several homes in Henrietta were evacuated on Tuesday after a gas leak.

The Henrietta Fire District says around 6:15 p.m., they responded to the area of Camelot Drive and Farnsworth Road for the report of a strong odor of natural gas.

They say they were able to locate a home with “explosive” levels of gas coming from it, and worked with RG&E to secure the gas service and safely ventilate the home…
