Alta Vista is Rochester’s latest major housing project to come online, part of growth in the affordable, multifamily housing space spurred on by state funding.
Gov. Kathy Hochul announced a $25 billion, five-year housing plan back in 2022, with the intention of creating or preserving 100,000 affordable homes.
