ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Two Monroe County businesses were targeted in armed robberies about an hour apart early Friday, including one in which suspects climbed through a drive-through window, and investigators believe the cases may be linked.
According to the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office, the first incident was reported just after midnight at a Wendy’s in Henrietta. Employees told deputies a man with a handgun threatened a worker at the drive-through window before climbing inside. A second armed man followed him into the restaurant.
Investigators said the pair left shortly afterward without taking anything. Witnesses reported a total of four people were involved, and the group drove away before deputies arrived. No injuries were reported…
