ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Villa of Hope celebrated the grand reopening of its New Life House, a residential treatment facility designed to support adult men on their journey toward long-term recovery from addiction. The ribbon-cutting ceremony, held on the organization’s main campus at 3300 Dewey Avenue, brought together community leaders, behavioral health experts, treatment providers, and individuals who have benefited from the Villa of Hope’s programs.
The New Life House, also known as the “Living in Freedom Early” house, offers a 14-bed residential program specifically for men aged 18 and older. Residents receive structured support similar to that provided at Villa of Hope’s Living Hope Treatment Center, but with greater flexibility: participants are free to come and go during their stay. The program typically begins with a one-week detox, followed by two to three weeks of intensive rehabilitation.
“New Life House is helping individuals rebuild relationships, renew their potential, and recover hope for the future,” said Carrie Carl, President and CEO of Villa of Hope. “It’s part of our continuum of care, which begins with a short-term detox program, continues through 14 to 21 days of rehabilitation at Living Hope Treatment Center, and can extend into our Residential Community Reintegration program for up to nine months for those who need additional support.”…
