ROCHESTER, N.Y. — The University of Rochester Medical Center celebrated a significant milestone with the ribbon-cutting for the final section of the Saunders Center for Orthopedics and Physical Performance.
The new facility features a high-tech training and education space for orthopedic surgery. URMC leaders said they are eager to start using the new space.
“We’re having medical students who happen to be women from across Western New York, Buffalo, and Syracuse here today to learn from my female surgical faculty how you become an orthopedic surgeon,” said Dr. Paul Rubery. “It’s a very special event and it’s exactly why we built this space.”…
