ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — A 45-year-old inmate was convicted Monday of assaulting a corrections officer at Attica Correctional Facility following a two-day jury trial.
Michael Nero was found guilty of two counts of second-degree assault under New York Penal Law for the November 27, 2023 incident, according to the office of Wyoming County District Attorney.
