Sew-N-City: Where hair is more than just a style, it’s a story

ROCHESTER N.Y. (WROC) — At Sew-N-City, a Black woman owned hair salon on Webster Ave, sisterhood is a pillar of the hair care experience.

“In hair, we just as a Black woman, you got to take the h off, it’s like the air that we breathe, because our crown and our hair is more than just a style. It’s really a story,” said owner Shannon Scott.
