Police seek suspects in Rochester carjacking that left victim hospitalized

Rochester, N.Y. — Police are looking for suspects in a carjacking Wednesday night on the city’s west side.

Officers responded around 9 p.m. to the 400 block of Lyell Avenue for the report of a carjacking. The victim, a 27-year-old man, claimed there were three suspects involved, two of whom were carrying handguns, according to the Rochester Police Department.

No shots were fired during the incident but the victim was hurt during a scuffle over the car, police said. He was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital with minor injuries…
