Rochester officer injured during Upper Falls arrest; man faces assault, drug charges

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — A Rochester police officer was injured Tuesday afternoon during the arrest of a man accused of assaulting a woman during a domestic dispute, according to the Rochester Police Department.

Police said officers responded around 12:30 p.m. to Upper Falls Boulevard and Thomas Street for a report of a family disturbance. During the argument, investigators said the suspect pushed a woman to the ground, causing a head injury.
