ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Over 100 attendees celebrated this year’s Festival of Inclusion on Saturday, coming together for an afternoon of activities and resources.
The event was hosted by the Golisano Foundation alongside Best Buddies and Special Olympics Western New York to recognize individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and spotlight local organizations working to promote a culture of inclusivity.
From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Nazareth University, festivalgoers enjoyed food trucks, sports such as adaptive tennis, and the opportunity to speak with representatives from over a hundred organizations, including The ARC of Monroe, AutismUP, Child Care Council, Flower City Down Syndrome Network, and more…
