ROCHESTER, N.Y. — When someone vanishes, the first instinct is urgency — call the police, track the phone, check the bank account. But in adult missing person cases, it’s not always that simple.
Jaquan McCoggle, 26, has been missing from Rochester since November. He lived with his mother, Denise McMillan, and the night he left still replays in her mind.
