Rochester man arrested after being accused of killing ‘companion animal’

BATAVIA, N.Y. — A 45-year-old man has been arrested after being accused of breaking into a home and killing a “companion animal.”

Genesee County sheriff’s deputies say Enrique Pellot broke into a home in Batavia, caused over $1,500 in damages, and “caused serious physical injury or death of a companion animal.”
