ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Ticketmaster has reached a $280 million settlement with the Justice Department to resolve a high-profile antitrust case. The settlement allows Ticketmaster to remain with its parent company, Live Nation, and introduces a standalone ticketing system for third-party companies like SeatGeek and StubHub to offer primary tickets.
