Gates police have identified the family impacted in Thursday’s crash that killed a baby boy in Gates.
Jake, Kelly and Noah Carpenter were stopped in a sport utility vehicle at a traffic light on Buffalo and Howard roads in Gates Thursday morning, March 5, when a second eastbound SUV rear-ended the family’s SUV, severely injuring both parents and killing the couple’s 6-month-old son, said Gates Police Chief Rob Long.
