The Green Giant brand’s frozen and shelf-stable vegetables are back under one roof after a major acquisition, according to the Finger Lakes Times.
Fairport-based Seneca Foods completed its purchase of Green Giant’s U.S. frozen product line from B&G Foods. The deal includes the brand’s intellectual property, frozen inventory and a vegetable processing plant in Yuma, Arizona.
The move follows Seneca Foods’ 2023 acquisition of Green Giant’s U.S. shelf-stable vegetable line. Company leaders say the combined operations will expand Seneca’s reach in the growing frozen foods market…
