Evidence hearings continue for brothers charged in Irondequoit family murder case

Rochester, N.Y. (WHAM) — Two brothers accused of torturing and killing a family of four in Irondequoit before setting their home on fire appeared in Monroe County Court on Friday for evidence hearings that could shape what jurors ultimately hear at trial.

Luis Francisco Soriano and Julio Cesar Pimentel-Soriano are accused of killing and torturing their cousin, Fraime Ubaldo, his girlfriend, Marangely Moreno Santiago, and the couple’s two young children in the family’s Knapp Avenue home before setting it on fire Aug. 31, 2024.
