ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — A Rochester man is facing charges after police say a woman was shot while sleeping in her apartment when a bullet came through the floor from the unit below.
Officers with the Rochester Police Department responded just after 11:30 p.m. on Feb. 10 to a home on Thorndale Terrace. When they arrived, they found a woman who had been shot in the upper body.
She was taken by ambulance to Strong Memorial Hospital, where she underwent emergency surgery. Police said her injuries were serious but not considered life-threatening…
