Rochester hospital joins gun violence prevention effort with screenings for patients 12 and older

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Rochester is one of three cities in New York that will participate in a gun violence prevention program in hospitals.

Emergency department staff at Strong Memorial Hospital will offer voluntary gun injury risk screenings for patients 12 and older, regardless of the reason for their visit to the emergency department that day.
