WASHINGTON — Elon Musk is inserting himself into the Department of Homeland Security shutdown by suggesting he might want to pay the salaries of TSA employees as airports continue to struggle during the partial government shutdown.
The billionaire Tesla CEO posted a message on his social media platform X early this morning. “I would like to offer to pay the salaries of TSA personnel during this funding impasse that is negatively affecting the lives of so many Americans at airports throughout the country,” Musk said.
