GATES, N.Y. — Two people are facing charges after Gates Police say they led officers on a chase in a stolen car on Sunday morning.
Police say the chase started on Chili Avenue and ended when the car crashed on Mt. Read Boulevard and I-490. No other cars were involved in the crash. Police say the two people inside the car tried to run away, but Gates and Rochester officers were able to arrest them.
Both suspects were taken to the Monroe County Jail for arraignment. Mason Fritz, 34, is charged with criminal possession of stolen property, fleeing the police, reckless driving, and other offenses…
