As of 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Webster Police say: “Out of an abundance of caution, officers have extensively investigated last night’s report of an unsupervised child in the area of Krieger Road. All children in the vicinity matching the description and age range have been accounted for, and no children have been reported missing at this time. We would like to thank the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office, the City of Rochester Police Department, and the Webster Central School District for their assistance.”

WEBSTER, N.Y. — Webster Police launched a search overnight after someone called 911 to report an unsupervised child running on Krieger Road off Phillips Road.
Officers and deputies searched with a drone and a K-9 unit around Phillips Village apartment building, but police say they didn’t find any child matching the description.
