ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — One dog was rescued, and another died in a Thursday morning fire on Quamina Drive.
The fire broke out around 10:30 a.m. at the two-and-a-half-story home at 23 Quamina Drive. One person escaped through the back door before Rochester Firefighters arrived.
One dog was successfully saved from the fire and reunited with its owner. Sadly, a second dog was found deceased inside the residence. No people were injured. The Red Cross was alerted to assist displaced residents.
