At 8:24 p.m. on March 25, 2026, the Webster Fire Department responded to a house fire in the 500 block of Holt Road. Flames spread through the attic and second floor but were contained by 9:07 p.m. Crews stayed until 11:48 p.m. to secure the home. Two firefighters suffered minor injuries. The Monroe County Fire Bureau is investigating the cause. Supporting agencies included Lincoln Fire Rescue, West Webster Fire Department, Webster Police Department, Penfield Webster EMS, Ontario Fire Company, and Penfield Fire Company.
