RPD: Man found dead on Lyell Avenue was murdered after an argument

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Rochester Police say the man found dead outside a house on Lyell Avenue near Cameron Street on Thursday was murdered.

Police believe that an argument led up to the murder and haven’t announced any arrests. RPD provided an update on Friday morning, identifying the victim as Curtis Wilson, a 40-year-old city resident.

Officers have been investigating ever since getting a call around 7:30 a.m. for a body on a porch.
