Verizon’s second proposal for 5G tower at Oneida Street and Portland Avenue faces opposition from neighbors

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — A Rochester City Council member is speaking out against a proposed 5G cell tower on the city’s northeast side.

This is Verizon’s second proposal for the corner of Oneida Street and Portland Avenue. Councilmember Michael Patterson, who represents that area. spoke at a public hearing Monday before the city Planning Commission.
