Police: Rochester man stabbed in the upper body on East Main Street, receiving non-life-threatening injuries

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Around 9:40 p.m. on Thursday, the Rochester Police Department said they went to East Main Street after getting a report about a man threatening people with a knife.

When officers arrived, they found a 60-year-old Rochester man with at least one laceration to the upper body. The victim was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital by ambulance and appeared to have non-life-threatening injuries, police say.
