Two people stabbed during altercation at Public Market Sunday morning

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Rochester police arrested a 25-year-old Brighton resident after a knife fight at the Public Market early Sunday morning left two people hurt.

Officers responded to Rochester General Hospital around 1:45 a.m., where two people were being treated for non-life threatening wounds to their upper bodies. Police learned the two had been in an altercation involving a knife at the Public Market.

Following an investigation, the 25-year-old was charged with second-degree assault. The other person involved, a 37-year-old Rochester resident, was not charged…
