ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) – People’s Choice Kitchen will be hosting its fifth annual Easter bike giveaway on Sunday. Close to 100 bikes will be given away to those in the community in need of a bike. The giveaway will be held in the parking lot of the Family Dollar in Rochester on Thurston Road beginning at 2 p.m.
People’s Choice Kitchen partnered with the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office and many others to help collect bikes to giveaway. Evangela “Van” Stanley with People’s Choice Kitchen said this is a fun way to spread Easter cheer while giving back to the Rochester community, which PCK has been so well-known for doing for more than 20 years.
