Some eye drops sold at Walgreens, CVS, and other stores recalled

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — More than 3.1 million bottles of eye drops sold at Walgreens, CVS, and other major national retailers are being recalled because they may not be sterile.

The manufacturer, K.C. Pharmaceuticals, recalled eyedrops sold under several brand names, including Dry Eye Relief Eye Drops and Artificial Tears Sterile Lubricant Eye Drops. The FDA says the recall is “Class II”, meaning the product may cause “temporary or medically reversible adverse health consequences.”…
