ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Gas prices in Rochester have risen more than 75 cents in just a month.
This is the sharpest spike in prices since the pandemic. According to GasBuddy, the average price in Rochester is $4.06 a gallon, two pennies cheaper than the national average of $4.08. The price spike is being caused by a reduction in the flow of oil into the global market.
