Bench trial of Henrietta man accused of killing parents and sister begins today

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — The bench trial of a Henrietta man accused of killing his parents and his sister will begin on Monday.

In January 2023, investigators said 39-year-old Rajab Banahi called the police and told them that he stabbed his family members at a Kathy Drive home. He was taken into custody after deputies convinced him to come outside.

Two of the victims were his parents, 82-year-old Ali Banahi and 73-year-old Mastoora Banahi. His sister, 43-year-old Masuda Banahi, was taken to the hospital for emergency surgery, but she died days later from her injuries…
