IRONDEQUOIT, N.Y. — Homeowners affected by a landslide in Irondequoit met with town officials but are still left with questions about next steps. Dave Stafford and Nary Rin met with the Town of Irondequoit on Monday.
The town walked them through the permit process if they want to fill the hole themselves.
“Basically what they told us that as long as we’re not proposing anything ridiculous that they would approve it. However, based on our conferences with the state and the county, we have been advised not to move forward yet with any sort of protection of our property, for fear of us being liable or any other damage that’s caused by what we do,” Stafford said…
